Mixed signals: several guests praise breakfasts and general upkeep, but multiple reviews note an 'old' smell in rooms, aged carpets and uncomfortable/overstuffed pillows — cleanliness/freshness concerns lower this score.

Consistently highlighted as a strength across reviews and languages: staff described as friendly, helpful, attentive and going out of their way (e. g. , offering a presidential suite); many guests explicitly praise the team and manager.

Very positive mentions: 'great location', 'mid in the mountains with beautiful views', and convenient for city visits — location is frequently praised.

Mixed: rooms described as very large and with good facilities, but also noted as aged, with old carpets and some uncomfortable pillows; occasional smoking-room mix-up impacted comfort.
